The Site Plan Control Guidelines are intended to assist in the preparation of a Site Plan Control application and to provide some design guidelines which should be taken into consideration when designing a site. The guidelines will be used as a checklist by staff to ensure that minimum requirements have been met. Density by Design is the City of Kingston's project to develop mid-rise and tall building design policies. These policies will guide the future development of buildings of more than four storeys in Kingston to ensure compatibility with existing development.
The Richmond Urban Design Committee (UDC) is a ten member advisory committee created by City Council in 1968.
